Fer à repasser en laiton, creux à lingot en fonte, à semelle et receptacle en "langue de boeuf". Une poignée à colonne unique, prolongée par une tige horizontale en bois cylindrique, est maintenue par une vis sur le dessus du réceptacle. Une trappe à l'arrière se ferme par une porte à axe de rotation horizontal, munie d'une poignée-bouton.
