L'image est divisée en deux registres. Le registre supérieur présente une représentation du Jugement dernier. Au registre inférieur, les allégories des Sept Péchés capitaux s'organisent autour d'un buste féminin, incarnant "la vie mondaine", qui surmonte la figure de Satan, ailé, cornu et tenant la fourche.
