Fer / Cette barre à mine est composé d'une longue tige cylindrique, le long de laquelle sont enroulés des torsades regulières de métal. Une de ses extrémités est aplatie, formant un biseau. L'autre est de section carrée avec un anneau autour, à environ dix centimètre de son extrémité.
