Jésus comparaît devant Hérode Antipas, assis sur son trône afin de présenter ses pouvoirs. Le Christ est encadré de deux soldats romains en uniforme portant, l'un un bouclier, et l'autre une épée. Sur le côté droit de l'image apparaît une représentation architecturale montrant le clocher de l'église de l'abbaye d'Aiguebelle.
