Structure en acier composée d'un petit couteau rectangulaire placé dans un orifice carré, entrainé par une petite mollette fixée par deux vis à une pièce semi-rectangulaire semi-circulaire munie de trois trois-laminoirs pour arrondir le lacet de cuir et l'affiner. Une petite inscription est visible sur cet ensemble. Le tout est emmanché sur un manche en bois tourné séparé par une petite virole en cuivre. Un annelet de fixation est placé sous le manche en bois.
