Tige d'acier de section rectangulaire terminée par une gorge creusée. L'emmanchage à scie se fait sur un manche de bois tourné soutenu par une virole en cuivre, elle-même fixée à l'aide d'un petit clou. Un annelet d'accrochage en fer est fixé à l'extrémité du manche.
