Tambour dit "boula" en bois rouge creusé dans un tronc d'arbre, de cadre circulaire métallique, avec une peau de cabri. Il sert d'accompagnement dans la formation dite "Lewoz" de Guadeloupe : gwoka. Il émet un son grave. Le tambouyié est assis à califourchon et frappe avec les mains en rythme en ostinato. Il est décoré d'un dessin polychrome représentant deux palmiers et porte le mot "Caraïbe"
