Le tableau s'agit d'un emblème militaire de format paysage. Il a un fond en soie blanche. Au milieu se trouve la photographie d'un marin en blanc et noir. Elle est insérée dans un bouée en tissu blanc. Autour du bouée il y a une fleur d'acanthe brodée. Au-dessous est présente le cadre en tissu blanc peint avec des fleurs. Il répresente à l'intérieur la photographie, en blanc et noir, d'une femme. Au-dessus du bouée est brodée une couronne rouge avec une croix. Sur chaque côté se trouvent quatre drapeaux. Sur la partie supérieur est brodée une inscription rouge insérée dans un bandeau. Le cadre est réalisée en bois peint en blanc. Le verso a un fond en carton marron avec du scotch marron autour. Sur les côtés se trouvent deux crochets métalliques avec un cordon en coton blanc nouée au milieu.
