A l'intérieur est fixé un manchon, constitué d'une tige métallique, terminée par un anneau, auquel est fixé une poche de gaze remplie de laine blanche. Le couvercle de la boîte présente une étiquette, ornée d'inscriptions et du dessin de l'objet.
