Plane droite en fer forgé, à un tranchant en avancée. Deux poignées en bois tourné à chaque extrémité, avec un emmanchage à soie avec virole. Inscription en creux sur la lame. Un protège lame en bois rond et entaillé dans sa longueur vient se placer contre la lame. Il est retenu par un cordage.
