Un roi se tient debout devant un berger assis contre un arbre. Le monarque est couronné, vêtu d'une cape bleue et teint son sceptre à la main. Le berger est coiffé d'un chapeau, vêtu d'un gilet et d'une culotte, il tient une flûte. Les deux hommes conversent, on voit à l'arrière un chien. Représentation d'une églantine en bas, à gauche.
