Ce moulage reproduit le motif qui ornait un dossier de chaise. Au premier plan, un faisan se tient de profil et tourne la tête vers l'arrière dans une attitude majestueuse. Il est entouré au second plan par des motifs végétaux et notamment par des branches de laurier à droite.
