Livre - "Placing" Europe in the musems

This book represents the proceedings of the international conference "Placing" Europe in the Museum: People(s), Places, Identities, held at Newcastle University in September 2012. This was the first in a series of events intended to complement and inform research within the context of the MeLa Project. The papers relate to Research Field 01, which focuses on Museums and Identity in History and today, and will develop policy-relevant arguments concerning the cultural significance of place within museum representations for questions of contemporary European identities and notions of citizenship.
