Livre - At the Seams

At the Seams : a Political History of Palestinian Embroidery is a Palestinian Museum exhibition, the first of its satellite projects to open outside Palestine. Hosted by Dar el-Nimer for Arts and Culture, the exhibition runs from May 25th - July 30th 2016. The idea for this exhibition was originally proposed in 2013 by the late Leila Miqdadi Al-Qattan (1934-2015) to honour her dear friend Malak al-Husseini Abdulrahim, a leading figure in the preservation and revival of the traditions of Palestinian embroidery and a brilliant designer in her own right. The exhibition is supported bu Leila Miqdadi Al-Qattan's family via the Palestinian Museum.
