Livre - MuCEM

The first major national museum outside of Paris, and first French museum devoted to both European and Mediterranean civilisations, the MuCEM is part of a vast urban renewal project that will help Marseille to boldly enter the 21st century. The MuCEM is a veritable cultural hub with its two contemporary buildings - Rudy Ricciotti and Roland Carta's J4, at the end of the old pier in La Joliette Port, and Corinne Vezzoni's Conservation and Resources Centre in the Belle-de-Mai district - combined with Fort Saint-Jean, a historical monument emblematic of the city, which has been entirely renovated and is finally open to the public.
