Social relay
Since its opening in 2013, the Mucem has been implementing a wide range of initiatives to give everyone access to their cultural rights.

Your role is essential!
The museum aims to be a resource for professionals and volunteers in the social and medico-social sectors. It boasts an exceptional setting and such a rich program that there is always an exhibition or event to suit a wide range of interests. Users of social centers, beneficiaries of solidarity associations, jobseekers, learners of French as a foreign language, patients…
You are the key players in relaying the Mucem’s proposals to your networks and to the users of your structures, associations, social centers and leisure centers. Together, we can remove the barriers to access to culture, and in particular the barrier to access to information, so that everyone can enjoy the Mucem and its rich cultural program.
What to do with a group of adults?

Partnerships
Ensemble en Provence by the Bouches-du-Rhône departmental council and Mucem
In early 2015, the Mucem signed an agreement with the Bouches-du-Rhône department to join the “Ensemble en Provence” scheme.
This scheme aims to bring social players closer to cultural and sports players in the Bouches-du-Rhône region, thereby facilitating access to cultural facilities. To encourage visitors to the Mucem, “Ensemble en Provence” removes the barrier of mobility by enabling social structures in the department located outside Marseille to have their transport costs covered when they come to attend a guided tour at the Mucem.
To do so, structures must make their reservation with the Mucem reservations department, specifying that their request is related to the “Ensemble en Provence” program.
- Tel: 04 84 35 13 13
- Mail: reservation@mucem.org
A booking confirmation will be sent to them.
A request for transport can be made to the “Ensemble en Provence” team:
- Marie Thé IACONIS
- Tel: 04 13 31 19 09
- Mail: ensembleenprovence@departement13.fr
The Vivre ensemble Marseille group
Mucem has joined forces with several cultural establishments in Marseille to create the “Vivre ensemble Marseille” group. The members of this group propose adapted pricing, specific mediation tools and meetings for social audiences and their intermediaries, and have designated a special contact within each institution. The group publishes a quarterly newsletter containing a selection of proposals.
Learn French at the Mucem with the Centre de Ressources Illettrisme CRI PACA
Since 2018, the Mucem has been working with a group of volunteers and professionals involved in literacy and learning French as a Foreign Language (FLE). The result of numerous meetings is a tool to assist visitors.
Culture du coeur 13
The Mucem provides Culture du coeur 13 and its members with free tickets for exhibitions and shows.
